What are the signs and symptoms of Oral Thrush?



Sometimes you may not even notice symptoms of oral thrush. Depending on the underlying cause, signs and symptoms may develop slowly or suddenly, and they may persist for days, weeks or months. Signs and symptoms may include:
·         Characteristic white patches
·         Redness under the white patches
·         White tongue
·         Cracking at the outer edges of the lips (cheilosis)
·         Dry mouth
·         Feeling of food stuck in the throat or sore throat
·         Soreness in teeth
·         Strange or unpleasant taste in mouth
·         Bad breath
·         Cracking and redness at the corners of your mouth (especially in denture wearers)
·         A cottony feeling in your mouth

·         Loss of taste
